murphy is a special kitty anyway. i found her on the side of the road where she had been carelessly tossed when she wasn't even weaned. i fed her with an eye dropper . she also lost her tail and part of her spinal tissue but today, 13 years later!!, she is perfect. we've long thought our house has a resident spirit and the way murphy follows something invisible with her eyes has convinced us even more.
